The Bluest Town in Morocco: Chefchaouen

The deep rich blues of Chefchaouen is surreal. It is situated in the Rif Mountains and was founded in 1471. Its name is due to the shape of the mountain above the town as it is shaped like two horns of a goat. Chefchaouen got its name from the Berber word for horns, Ichawen.
